Folk Heritage Books
Folk Heritage Books is a non-profit publisher of non-profit books. It has no employees and a volunteer editor and publisher. With much support from the Western North Carolina shaped-note singing community it has facilitated the design, editing and publishing of the 2015 Folk Heritage facsimile reprint of the 1873 Christian Harmony. This latest publication is dedicated to the preservation of shaped-note singing in general and to the regional tradition of singing from William Walker's 1873 Christian Harmony, using the unique system of notation designed by him. Other Folk Heritage Books include the 1994 reprint of the same book and four other books of regional interest.
